Craps is undoubtedly one of the most thrilling and exciting of all casino games, but did you know that it is also one of the easiest to play?
In fact, one of the reasons for its popularity is due to the fact that it is so simple. However, there is a fair amount of terminology which you will need to get your head around before playing. We will now guide you through the basic rules of Craps.
Craps Basics
Here at SlotsandCasino we offer you the opportunity to play casino craps. The game is centred around the roll of two dice. One player is known as the ‘shooter’ and throws the dice. When you play Craps online though, the roll of the dice is obviously randomly generated. There are several types of wagers which can be made, which we have outlined for you below. Learn these Craps basics and you will become a master in no time!
Pass Line
A pass line bet is the fundamental bet in Craps and is even money. This bet is made on the first roll of the dice. If the roll on the dice is a 7 or an 11, the bet wins. A 2, 3 or 12 results in a loss.
Don’t Pass Line
This is the exact opposite of the pass line. An even money bet where you win on a 2,3 or 12 and lose on a 7 or an 11.
Come Bets
If the shoot roll does not result in either a win on the pass line bet or the don’t pass line bet, then players may make Come Bets. Like before, you win on a 7 or 11 and lose on a 2,3 or 12.
Don’t Come Bets
This is the exact opposite of the come bet.
The More You Play Craps The More You Learn
The basic Craps rules and bets are just the tip of the iceberg. There are lots of different betting types and betting strategies in online Craps. Our recommendation is to play using the basic bets first and then, as your confidence increases, you can look to play with the more advanced bets.
